چکیده

The Puy-les-Vignes W deposit, located in the northwestern French Massif Central (FMC), is a rare occurrence of wolframite-mineralized hydrothermal breccia pipe hosted high-grade metamorphic gneisses. We present an integrated study this deposit aiming to characterize ore-forming system link with Variscan late-orogenic evolution FMC. Based on set representative samples from host rocks and mineralization, we describe detailed paragenetic sequence provide major trace element geochemistry granitic W–Nb–Ta–Sn–Ti oxide minerals, situ U/Pb 40 Ar/ 39 Ar geochronology, fluid inclusion quartz wolframite. demonstrate that formation W-mineralized results multistage development related four episodes during late Carboniferous. first episode corresponds emplacement unexposed peraluminous granite at ca. 324 Ma, which generated microgranite dykes exposed present-day surface. second quartz-supported wolframite mineralization 318 Ma paleodepth 7 km. mineralizing fluids have H 2 O–NaCl–CO –CH 4 –N composition, moderate-salinity (< 9 wt.% NaCl eq) were trapped high-temperatures (> 400 °C) lithostatic hydrostatic pressure variations caused by hydrofracturing rocks. Late orogenic carboniferous extensions in the Variscan French Massif Central

The Variscan French Massif Central experienced two successive stages of extension from Middle Carboniferous to Early Permian. In the northern Massif Central, the first stage began in the late Visean, immediately after nappe stacking, and is well recorded by NamurianWestphalian synkinematic plutonism. The Middle Carboniferous leucogranites widespread in the NW Massif Central (Limousin and Sioule...

Late orogenic exhumation of the Variscan high‐grade units

[1] The current structure of the South Armorican Domain in the French Variscan Belt, provides an excellent record of the late orogenic evolution, as documented by the complex interactions between extensional structures and partial melting. In the Golfe du Morbihan, the South Brittany Migmatite Belt (SBMB), tectonically overlain by non‐melted metamorphic units, was studied by combined structural...

Orthomagmatic origin for the Ilkwang Cu–W breccia-pipe deposit, southeastern Kyongsang Basin, South Korea

Four distinct types of fluid inclusion are associated with brecciation, alteration and mineralization in the Ilkwang Cu–W breccia-pipe deposit in the southeastern Kyongsang Basin, South Korea. The earliest fluid inclusions in igneous quartz have salinities of 35–49 wt% NaCl equiv. and homogenize by halite dissolution. This fluid exsolved directly from the melt. A CO2-bearing fluid (2–4 wt% NaCl...

A review of the pre-Permian geology of the Variscan French Massif Central

The Massif Central, like the southern part of the Massif Armoricain, belongs to the North Gondwana margin. The Massif Central consists of a stack of nappes resulting of six main tectonicmetamorphic events. The first one, D0, is coeval with an Early Late Silurian (ca 415 Ma) highpressure (or ultra high-pressure) metamorphism for which the associated structures are poorly documented. The Early De...
